Elwyn Robert McKinstry, born on 24 September 1890 to Robert Elwyn McKinstry and Maud (Howe) McKinstry in Ottawa, Carleton County, Province of Ontario, Dominion of Canada, descended from American Patriots who fought in or supported the American Revolutionary War.
The primary audience for this project includes the descendants of Elwyn Robert McKinstry. This extended family includes family members from other than Caucasian ethnic groups, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals of various religious denominations and spiritual beliefs. It is hoped that this project will encourage them to join one of the lineage societies to add to the diversity of these organizations.
